Saturday before the big celebration

Today was a rather relaxing day after non-stop activity since I left this past Tuesday. We slept a little later today and then had typical big English breakfast which turned out to be way too much food for me. I am used to much more simple breakfasts in the monastery.  After breakfast Peter and I went to the Cathedral to see how things would set up for tomorrow's Mass. The Cathedral is a small but lovely Celtic building filled with so much history going back to the 13th century. We returned to the house and enjoyed a simple lunch after which I took a nap. I have been sleeping very well since I arrived in London. For the rest of the Peter, Debbie and I enjoyed a good deal time getting to know one another better. We shared so much about respective experiences growing up Catholic and Anglican.  Debbie prepared a delicious roast lamb for dinner which lasted two hours since we never seem to run out of things to talk about.  After dinner we discussed the details of the Mass tomorrow.  And now that I am in my bedroom, I will spend sometime going over my homily.  I am really looking forward to tomorrow ...I am sure it will be a lovely day.
